Acer palmatum ‘Seiryu’ is a unique variety of Japanese Maple, being one of the few dissected types to have an upright habit. Its delicate, lacy foliage emerges bright green in the spring, turning to a stunning red and gold in autumn. This variety is an excellent choice for small gardens and containers, providing a dynamic visual spectacle throughout the seasons.

- Moist, fertile & well drained Acid to neutral Loam & sand
- Choose a sheltered location with partial shade, away from harsh winds and intense afternoon sun. Dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. Position the plant so that the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Backfill with a mixture of original soil and compost, firming gently around the base. Water thoroughly and regularly during dry spells until established. Mulch annually to retain soil moisture and protect roots.
