Very prickly evergreen hedge which is an excellent intruder deterrent. Very popular for wildlife hedging with the berries lasting well into the late autumn. Very easy to grow in most soils but not suitable for seaside gardens
- The ideal time for maintenance pruning is toward the end of flowering in the late spring.
