This member of the Peperomia genus is the Peperomia Argyreia, or the Watermelon Peperomia, as its more commonly known. The plants main attraction is the gorgeous colours and display it shows upon each individual leaf. The colours of dark green, mint and deep red all come together to create a watermelon-like finish to plant which, through no coincidence, finely falls back into the plants common name. You will find the plant is able to purify the air also, meaning harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins will be removed, being replaced by a more fresh and clean atmosphere. Place the plant in partial shade and water it when the top soil is dry to touch, so that it ends up being moist on most occasions. Do not allow the plant to stand in water for any length of time – make sure that the water drains from the pot before finishing the watering process.
